Maxim Stepanov

Maxim Stepanov spent his early career years with Inkombank, one of the first largest commercial banking institutions in Russia. Since 1996 Maxim worked as a Financial Planning Manager and Head of Budget Department and later as a Manager of Group Accounting with SFAT Joint Stock Company, a major railway transportation operator in Russia. At that time, SFAT had 12 subsidiaries in 5 countries, and annual sales of $300 million. In 1998, he joined Armstrong Europa GmbH (part of the NYSE-listed Armstrong World Industries, Inc.) as the Financial Manager and Credit Controller. Maxim is founder of Avenir – today one of the leading consulting group of companies in Russia (Avenir Group), specializing in personnel selection, assessment and development, labor market research and analyses, as well as in alternative HR provision services, such as personnel leasing, temporary staff and outsourcing. Since January 1999, Maxim has worked for Avenir as a General Director, where he was directly responsible for Business development and operational management for HR and Outsourcing services. He has produced lots of professional publications.
Today Maxim is Co-founder, General Director and Board Director of BpoCom, responsible for strategy planning and business development, marketing, current and new business services development, operational management, control on services quality and customers satisfaction, HR development and management, as well as for developing of relationship with existing and potential clients.
Maxim received his first university degree from Moscow Pedagogical University in 1995. He obtained an MBA with the American Institute of Business and Economics (AIBEc) in 2004. He is a certified Corporate Finance and Accounting expert. Maxim is proficient in Russian and English.
